Recommend me a clothes airer for drying sheets outside

I always dry our clothes and sheets on an airer in the utility room. However, with the weather getting better, and now that we have a garden, I'd like to dry sheets and reusable nappies outside if possible.

It's not that easy to put a line up, and I hate those outdoor rotary driers, so I'd like to get an outdoors airer I can dry sheets on. Can anyone recommend one? I'm not sure what sort of shape is best?

Thank you!

An airer will blow over in the wind. You need something tied down.

What's wrong with a rotary drier? Up when you are using it, down and covered when you are not!

Any time I try and use one outside it blows over

Rotary driers just look really unsightly to me. But that's probably just me. Fair point re blowing away. I think it'll be ok - I used to have an airier on our balcony and it stayed up most of the time. It was just a bit small or inappropriately shaped for sheets though.

The trouble with a line is, one end would attach to the back wall, but what about the other line?

The other end*

Attaches to my fence.

The garden measures 8m by 18m, and is narrow and long and also slopes downhill. If I attached one end to our back wall and the other to the back fence, the line would be 18m long, and would slope. I don't think that would work.

Ah! A line post. We have a lawn spike KLOP256 Umbrella Ground Spike,... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B089KFNHPP?ref=ppxpoppmobappshare for our parasol, so could perhaps use that for the line post?

I have a Brabantia t-model which was expensive but worth every penny as it's extremely solid. I use it for sheets in the garden.

However I've recently got a line up (had similar issue of not sure where to put it, ended up using two trees) and it is pure joy. Quite sadly one of my favourite activities is now hanging out the washing on the line. Much, much better than drying rack!

Put up a pole, then run another line back to the house.-Washing lint pole - works best in grass

Excuse the mad link!

The balcony style ones are good, my mum has had one for years, we used to play under it inside the sheets!

IKEA do one or Argos minky I think.

I have a tiny balcony, and use a spiral shaped hanger than you can put sheets or duvet covers on, and then hang it from any kind of solid beam or bar or rack that has room for it to spin around - I use a sort of portable clothes rod like people use as temporary wardrobes. It all folds up and goes back under the bed or wherever once I'm done.

This kind of thing although ideally with a more substantial base. This one looks cheap and rickety.

Or Vileda is a good brand in Europe, and this is the right shape. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B086F7XRSZ/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams
