Teachers..what's for lunch?

I guess anyone can answer this really, but I'm looking for lunch ideas that can fit into 20 minutes. I'm going back to work after maternity leave, and have never been good at eating while at work. I did a KIT day yesterday and ate a packet of crisps and felt rubbish! So what can I take to work next week? I'm going to be doing lunch duties so will have a Huel for that, but we get 20 minutes morning break, so what can I have then? I don't want anything that I have to heat up or that gets too sloppy. Give me your quick lunch inspiration please!

I usually have a wrap filled with salad and tuna/ham. Can eat it with one hand which helps when multitasking!

I can't eat sandwiches as I get sleepy so I make something to microwave. I often have the same lunch all week, usually lentil / bean stew. Or I make extra dinner and have that again. Salads are good too. I have the leaves with some hummus and then cut a small avo in last minute. I'm veggie but a chicken breast or ham would work here I suppose.

There's barely time to eat all, is there?

I tend to have a quarter of a quiche, leaves and a few tomatoes 4 times a week and crap from the canteen or nothing on the 5th day!

I take a food flask of soup or leftovers and a couple of pieces of fruit.

or when it’s warmer I take a box of cherry tomatoes/chopped cucumber/ other salad stuff but not leaves (because I just can’t be arsed chomping through leaves for ages), a couple of crisp bread and some slices of cheese. Easy to pick at if you have to do something else at the same time, and fine without being refrigerated all day (I have an insulated lunch bag).

In the cooler months a food flask with soup and a couple of slices of bread.

In the summer normally salad, sandwiches or pasta.

What about hummus and pitta I like these little snack packs of hummus and crispy pitta I think the brand is called moorish. I Often have that for lunch with some chopped up fruit eg melon pineapple.

Not a teacher BTW

Cold pasta salad?

Savoury muffins?

I like cold bolognese, curries, lasagne. Much more veg than doing sandwiches, and more interesting than salads. I just make a batch every so often and freeze portions to defrost during the week. Sometimes if I'm making a roast or something I'll put aside a Tupperware portion for the next day too. I'll still do a sandwich or salad once or twice most weeks too.

I would have cheese and biscs in the morning and a salad chopped in a plastic container with ham/tuna whatever in it.

Thanks all. I do like wraps so think that's the way forward. I wish I liked hummus, it would be great to have some sort of sticks and dip! I'll have to try some different flavours. Will probably get some 'exciting' fruit to shake it up - boring bananas just aren't going to cut it every day!

This is what I do. Sometimes a quiche and a large tub of coleslaw over four days (kept in fridge at work). Sometimes a Spanish tortilla instead of the quiche. I keep a salad dressing in the fridge too.

It's the running around straight after eating that I find hard. As a result- it's usually a sandwich here. Boring though.
