'Keepsake' gift for major birthday - help!

It's a major birthday coming up for me soon and DH has asked what I want as he's not sure what to get. I'd really like something that's a special 'keepsake' type thing, something I can keep for years rather than an experience/clothes etc but I have no idea what. I bought DH a watch for this number birthday but I don't wear watches so can't ask for the same.

Budget probably not much more than £150 as we're not especially flush. I don't wear earrings or rings besides wedding ring. It can be something ornamental/collectable though, doesn't have to be wearable/useful. Any ideas gratefully received!

A picture/painting/print that you love?

A locket with photo of a special moment.
A photo laser engraved in a crystal.

I have oils like to go to a beautiful place eg Skye/ Venice /Rome ...
For a physical keepsake I would pick a picture or print of somewhere I love.

A vintage wine or whiskey of the year he was born?

Sorry, for yourself.

I'd personally choose a beautiful expensive plant for my garden, or maybe something like a garden bench or arbour because I love my garden.

Or maybe I'd just tell DH to give it to charity as honestly there is nothing I need right now. And so many people who are desperate.

I'd go for a picture you love.

If there's nothing you actually really want it isn't really special anyway so much as it's for the sake of it so I would just wait until you see something or come across something that feels special, especially if it's a financial burden. I don't think these things have to always be done on the day to be for an occasion.

My favourite anniversary gift was an a antique cabinet I spotted on a day out with DP, I saw it on a day trip and the anniversary was about a couple of months away so we just decided to get it 'for' that as a shared gift and not bother with anything else. I use it as a bookcase and still love it.

Next milestone gift I have said I'd like a gift voucher for a commission from a painter I've always admired (nothing extortionate). I'll be asking her to do a representation of a much loved holiday spot.
