Can anyone find me the perfect UK spot to have a solo holiday after horrible divorce?

My divorce is in the final stages and I am desperate to have a break away once it is through.

I fancy seaside walks ideally from a little cottage with nice places to eat. Can anyone recommend somewhere just for me? I'm hoping to go when the DC are with STBEXH but he is so unreliable they might end up with me, although I'm hoping to go during term time.

Whitby. I’ve done it on my own. You can find accommodation on the FB page Where to stay in Whitby. Find a self catering a apartment and you can get a take away or two.
Remember to book places to eat as after about 7 all restaurants and pubs that do food tend to be rammed.

Thank you so much everyone, I imagine I'd be very peaceful in a lot of these places. I particularly like the tidal pool that someone linked to. I will now Google a few places and find somewhere to stay. I promised myself I'd do this when I could so I'm determined to!
