Hustlers University??

Has anyone ever heard of this? My son is 16 next week and is asking for a subscription (?) to Hustlers University. I am utterly clueless even after googling. He says that or some money to invest in stocks and shares. I am very careful with any money I have, I certainly dont have money making money 🙈 Does anyone have any thoughts?

Scammy get rich quick scheme type thing. Don't waste money on it.
If he wants to learn about making money, business etc the internet is full of free tips and advice and he could get work experience too. Working at mcdonalds will teach him more than these scammy influencer courses will.

@Sutherpear thanks. I thought as much but didn’t want to be dismissive over something I hadn’t a clue of. He’s a job as pot washer with aspirations to make more of his pot washer wages

Best thing he can do is save up his cash for supporting him in the future (apprenticeship, University etc). His other option of stocks and shares is a disaster waiting to happen. If he's really wanting to get into it, he should try with a paper trading account for a full year and stay far far far away from these type of schemes.

Toffee is that meant to just be a link to their website? It doesn't reveal anything about it being a scam. I wonder where this is being advertised as my teenager has just asked me the very same thing!
Part of me is thinking it could be a lesson in things not always delivering what they promise. (If it's possible to buy one month only, if it's a year it would be an expensive lesson!)
he is already dabbling in cryptocurrency 😳

ToffeeNotCoffee · 03/05/2022 17:23

He might just have to learn the hard way about, 'get rich quick' schemes.

The whole website and style and attitude of it it screams scam, to me.

Badlifeday · 03/05/2022 17:29

Absolutely. Never gamble what you can't afford to lose.
I'm at the other end, heading for retirement and realise I should have done a bit more "gambling" with our money, as our savings are going to be worth little by the time inflation has done with them.
maybe I will join the hustlers myself!

Discord and ig is awash with these type of scams and adverts trying to target mostly teenagers boys to invest in these scams and scammy crypto coins.

Andrew tate is the man who runs this, a sampling of how much a lovely person he is 🙄

Hi,
I just came across this post after searching for something else and I thought I would walk you through my experience with Hustlers university. Firstly, Im glad that some parents actually take the time to research their kids aspirations, I’m sure he appreciates it greatly. Now onto the experience ( this may be a little long but I think its best if I describe it as best I can). I am a little older than your son (20) so I understand why he is interested, the world is changing its a lot easier to become successful in what you enjoy doing rather than what society dictates is success. So with the actual subscription you are able to choose the monthly option and cancel after the first month if you don’t see the value (just cancel the payment). Although as writing this, they have started to change up the membership so if someone quits they are banned after a set amount of time which I’m quite happy with as new members that are not serious and just see it as a get rich quick scheme just waste all of our time with questions and don’t act on it. Once you join, you will be recommended an avenue to pursue based on how much money you want to invest into your chosen avenue and based on how much time you have to pursue it. After you have the recommendation and you choose your what avenue you prefer ( theres around 10 different avenues some take zero investment like affiliate marketing and some take investment like stocks/crypto) these can all be accessed at any time with no limit if you want something different after. After choosing your avenue let’s say E commerce, you will be placed in a separate group with thousands of students all at different places ( some successful and some starting out) and some professors and apprentices. The professors and apprentices are all successful in their chosen field and are able to provide you with support on the specific field. They have recorded/ live lectures and webinars for you to learn from before implementing it all. Essentially that’s what it is, a community of like minded people. For me, the community itself is worth the subscription. You have access to like minded people and successful entrepreneurs who have already done it all. Now the important thing, this is not a get rich scheme it takes work and patience in any field, there are people who join and give up after a couple weeks of minimal effort and then there are people who are ambitious who study, ask questions and implement it all and they become some what successful pretty quick. In this case that is up to your son weather he would put the effort in or not. The only problem I can see is that he is 16 so probably would be limited in a few things but he can definitely start with the e-commerce, affiliate marketing and copywriting sections but as for stocks or crypto he would need to be 18. Key thing to explain to him is that to not have a time limit, people usually have a figure in mind like I want to make X amount of money in X amount of months, its possible but its better to not have that expectation and learn all you can. If he comes in to learn he will learn and that in time will make him money. There is also a personal finance section where there is a really good advice on finance and life in general, how to speak to people and create value in yourself ( my personal favourite) . Another important thing, do not give him money to invest, if he works he can use that money and if he has little income there are sections that require nothing but time to get successful at and he can use that to grow his income before dabbling into high investment projects. Now if he is ambitious I have no doubt this would benefit him. All of what I have said is non- biased, Yes I am a member but I also gain nothing from him joining so you can trust what I say is without bias. If you have any questions about this or if your son even needs advice I am more than happy to help! I hope this has helped you and anyone else confused. There are definitely scams out there but this is not, you get what is advertised.

Hi- I’m a journalist working for South West Londoner on a podcast about Andrew Tate and am looking to speak to a parent about their opinions specifically on the Hustlers University scheme. If interested or have any questions please don’t hesitate to let me know : [email protected]

Hello OP, it's easy and worthwhile for your son to start saving in an ISA, there will be no gains tax to pay and many are geared up for regular small savings. Additionally some building society savings accounts offer good interest rates these days and some will also be aimed at younger savers. Both types of account are utterly safe.
There's no need to risk your savings at all, especially if you don't know much about financial markets.
(And with that in mind he could do worse than start by making a habit of reading the financial and business pages of the quality papers. )
