Im hip and leg too. Make an appointment with the physio at your GP surgery.

Physio every time. Mine was excellent and referred me for an MRI

I saw a chiropractor for my sciatica. Physio didn't really help me. It made a huge difference - initially it was so bad I went twice a week for a couple of weeks, then once a week, then once every 10 days etc. I now go once every 2 to 3 months for maintenance and haven't had any real problems with pain for a few years. I can tell when I need to go as I start to get a dull ache in my hip and leg but going to see the chiropractor means it doesn't develop further.
I had an MRI and it showed crumbling discs affected the space my sciatic nerve had and this was causing the pain. I struggled with pain and limping for over a year after physio didn't help me and was considering an injection when I was recommended a chiropractor.

Physio but I’d also see your GP. It’s important to establish what is causing the sciatica as inappropriate treatment can make it worse. I’ve had it for 18 years and have had an operation, injections and physio for flare-ups. A chiropractor made it worse because at that point I had had no tests done to confirm the cause and being clicked and crunched about was the worst thing I could have done.

Lots of internet advice on suitable exercises. Swimming helps IME too. A physiotherapist should be able to diagnose properly. I found painkillers did not do anything but a TENS machine helped a bit.

Osteo or physio. I wouldn’t touch a chiropractor (because I did - seemed to help to begin then caused problems. I’d never go back to one). I see an osteo now about once a year. Osteo cleared mine after 2 sessions (only a jiggle after the first).

Niggle, not jiggle 🙄

Osteo or physio. One that does Western medical accupuncture would be ideal. My sciatica was eased by a big needle into my piriformis. Then massage and stretching.
