Feel like I need to switch careers but don’t know where to start?

Feeling a bit down at the moment as I feel like I don’t know what I want from my life/career.

I'm 25 and currently have what younger me would’ve said was my dream job. I’m in a well paid managerial role in the industry I always wanted to work in and it’s given me the opportunity to buy my first home. However I don’t feel like I’m getting that much enjoyment out of it (I’ve been here just over a year). I’m wondering if I should go and retrain but I have no clue what in. My interests still lie in my industry (think arts and culture) and couldn’t imagine myself doing anything maths/science based but my day to day job just isn’t making me happy. Does anyone have any career path suggestions? Or how I could retrain without going back to university?

What are the parts of your job that you do enjoy? I would focus on them and looking at where you can go sideways into something that involves more of that.

Pay to to psychometric testing. Morrisby have such a test.

As well as what you do enjoy, can you identify what you don’t enjoy? Do you manage people, or projects, or both? If one or the other, do you think your forte may lie in the one you don’t do?

It’s very unusual to be just three years out of university and working in a senior management position in the arts: do you think that perhaps it’s the pressure of the managerial role you’re struggling with having had very little workplace experience or a chance to properly grow and mature into your role through more junior positions first? Maybe a step into something non-managerial within the industry would be more fulfilling at this stage in your career.

If I was 25 and fed up at work, assuming no kids/other responsibilities, I'd go and work abroad in Australia, NZ, Canada - anywhere that offers a working holiday visa. Just get any job and explore a bit and worry about a career later. It's maybe not for everyone but that's what I'd do.
