When do they stop sleeping all day?

DD is 9 weeks corrected.

She sleeps pretty much all day, waking only to be fed. And then she sleeps all night without waking

It's bliss! But I can't remember when this ends?

DS slept all night and didn't nap as much, but he was a quiet baby and no trouble at all. He's disabled though

When does the luxury of them always sleeping end?

Every child is different
Neither of mine slept as much as that but the first did sleep much of the day until about 3 months and mostly through the night from around 3 months. 2nd one never slept much at all. Was awake for 7 or 8 hours during the day and woke regularly at night. Stopped all but a couple of half hour naps during the day by 3 months and didn't sleep through the night until she started walking at 8 months. (She's adult now and can easily sleep 12 hours per night given half a chance)

I think about 4 months you notice that they're more awake and actually doing stuff like picking things up, trying to reach for toys, starting to coo or babble, want to look at specific things.

Then 6 months is even better with more movement attempts, better sitting, weaning, etc. The second half of the first year is great fun (although sleep always seems to go to pot!)

DS just came in from college and went straight to bed.

So over 18…

My 13 year old son came in from school, slept 3 hours, woke up to scarf down some food, buggered off to cadets and then he'll go to bed when he gets in
