How much are you wanting to spend each?

PinkSyCo · 27/04/2022 06:06

Err what do they like?

Furbaby65 · 27/04/2022 08:18

And always get two cards, it annoys me when my twins get one card between 2!!

lightand · 27/04/2022 08:19

boys or girls?

ChiefWiggumsBoy · 27/04/2022 09:02

Fiver in a card each for school friends.

A How to draw Manga book for crafty kids, Lego set, trampoline to share….really need a bit more info!

SmiledWtherisingsun · 27/04/2022 18:11

I don't really know what they like, hence the question.
It's a boy & a girl.
£10 ish each?

Small boxes of Lego. Think we got quite a bit of those and they were well received.

ChiefWiggumsBoy · 27/04/2022 23:17

Honestly a fiver is enough. I only give a tenner for best friends and those in secondary.

I'm also a parent of twins and a fiver in a card each would be very welcomed! Rather that than having to find room for something else.

SmiledWtherisingsun · 29/04/2022 10:18

Hmmm
I hate lego. Ours just ends up in a massive box not being used.
I would like to get them a gift each.

I’ve got twins and I don’t/they don’t mind sharing a card.

ChiefWiggumsBoy · 30/04/2022 00:03

@SmiledWtherisingsun well they’re two different people? You wouldn’t turn up to a joint party for two unrelated kids without at least a card for each would you?

But you’re not buying for you? Confused

Identical twin here. Please never buy joint presents. Inevitably they’ll end up in one twin’s room; we had a black & white tv one Christmas which ended up in her room as the eldest by a whole 10 minutes (much grumbling even now lol). Thus the other twin is left with bugger all.

Definitely no joint cards! They’re individuals!

I’d stick with money in their cards or Amazon vouchers (if parents have Prime of course) so they can choose what they want, or even pool their resources together (providing it’s not for a Grundig black & white tv, or Vic 20, or stereo shakes fist at sky).

They are individuals. Buy a gift that each child would like just like any other child.

You don’t need Prime to use an Amazon voucher

Billandben444 · 30/04/2022 05:47

Agree with all the above. Please do not buy identical gifts as we might look similar but we're really not. You're determined to spend £10 (can you get a proper gift for that any more?) so, depending on the child, a bit of tat from Claire's Accessories for one and football cards or a magic trick for t'other - you can decide who gets what. I'd go for cash or a voucher.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 30/04/2022 05:49

My 9&10yo girls love vouchers. Amazon, The Works to spend on little bits, book vouchers, Primark to chose a couple of items...
