Im a sahm youngest dc is 2.
We get a top up of UC.
I had my 1st work focused interview today and explained due to health issues i cant return to a previous field of work as too physical. However im more than happy to search other stuff, and have been.
Issues we currently have is childcare. Have a 2, 4, 9 year old and a teen.
Obviously teen doesn't need childcare.
I have no qualifications so any job will be low paid. And wouldnt cover childcare fees, and yes i know its a joiny expense but im saying that if i earned say 1k pm in the HOUSEHOLD pot. But childcare 1.5k out the HOUSEHOLD pot. Then its still minus 500.
Ive done the entitled to calculator
So i have said id like some help to maybe train to get basic skills, ie computers or whatever as im honestly useless. So that i can get a job that i can progress and then earn more and then hopefully in long term it will be beneficial.
Id like to know the experience of JETS
They want my cv etc. But my cv is based on work i can no longer do. So would seem pointless.
I have a telephone appointment with JETS tomorrow.
Do they for example say theres a course at xyz place on xyz week to attend.
I absolutely dont have the ability to learn from home. I've tried its to hectic and gave up.
Dh is out the house 730am till 7pm at the Minimum, 6 days a week. But can be till 11pm depending on the work load ( but doesnt get overtime so that's crap)
Also maybe 1 to 2 Sundays he has to go in.
So learning at home after all the dcs in bed and tidied up etc is so late.
I do suffer depression and anxiety which I've recently gone back on meds after 3 years without but I'm doing ok and trying to think positively but the whole unknown is scaring me.
