Does anyone know what the pH value is of petit filous

I know petit filous is supposed to be a cheese. Would petit filous have the same ph value of some cheeses? Often a piece of cheese is good for after meals for bringing the pH value up in the mouth and that is supposed to slow down dental decay? Anybody know if petit filous has the same ph value as cheese? I googled but the answer never came up for me.
I know the only way of finding out is to experiment with some PH testing strips and I will probably put some testing strips on a list of things to buy some day.

I've got some universal indicator strips- but no petit filous! It won't matter what the pH is, the added sugar will negate any benefit. Just swill with water at the end of the meal

I've got a chart here with the pH values of every flavour of Petit Filous. I'd be happy to help. Is it strawberry or blackcurrant you're considering painting your child's teeth with?

@Spaghag

Oh. This wins.

The absolute most batshit post I have ever read in 11 years on MN.

Well done.

Oh I love this Grin

It's times like this when I deeply regret never really using the 'wet chemistry' aspect of my chemistry degree.

But like others have said, I would have thought that even if PF is no more acidic than standard cheese, the beneficial effect would be outweighed by the detrimental affect of the sugar.

And anyway, the chart linked below suggests that some cheeses are quite acidic, but I don't know how this affects dental health.

I'm sorry but Petit Filous is going to increase the mouth's acids due to the sugar in it.

Anything that you chomp will increase the mouth's natural acids.
