Best high chair

I'm going to be looking after my 6 month old granddaughter a couple of days a week. Which high chair would people recommend? I don't want anything massive or vastly expensive.
TIA

IKEA Antilop! Don't buy anything fancy, we bought one covered in snazzy material for our first and it was a nightmare to clean. Bought second and third kids IKEA antilops and they are really practical, sturdy, easy to clean and if you get the insert cloth seat they are nice and comfy!

Second the IKEA one. Easy to clean & big tray to fit lots on. Also can go in dishwasher. I've been able to give mine away to new homes once finished with them as they were still excellent condition

IKEA Antilop.

This question is asked so often and every time the Antilop is hands down the most recommended for very good reason. It's cheap, easy to clean and can be dismantled quickly if necessary.

I'm always amazed anyone else ever bothers to design and sell highchairs as everyone I know used the Antilop.

Adding to the chorus of IKEA Antilop!

I had a fancy padded one for DS1, until he came down with D&V while sat in it. I'll spare you the details but it went straight in the bin!

Antilop all the way after that and did well for DS2 aswell

As above

Yep. IKEA anti lop. I even got ours for £8 off gumtree and didn't have to visit IKEA! Win-win 👏

BertieBotts · 16/04/2022 12:50

Antilop for sure!

IKEA as PPs say. I had two and when the twins outgrew them I donated them to a community café. Eight years on, I saw them in use on Thursday.

DidgeDoolittle · 16/04/2022 13:15

Antilop it is then.
Thanks everyone

Just to add a point about the antilop, it is great and cheap but not so good if you don't have much space. It has a massive footprint for a "small" chair, I was constantly tripping over the legs of mine.
