Ways of making time pass quicker

…when you aren’t currently working and have no DCs or caring commitments. Or any commitments. Confused

I’m on mat leave and for a myriad of reasons I want the next fortnight to fly by. I’ve gone off early (29 weeks) so I’m not at the stage where I’m waiting for baby, nor do I feel comfortable prepping hospital bags and whatnot yet, so I don’t have lots of baby stuff to keep me busy.

Does anyone have any ideas for making time zoom by? I have weekly midwife appointments, a yoga class and I have tried to schedule in some socialising- but I am still worried about clock watching and twiddling my thumbs.

(If you do want to know- I’m waiting to move to a nicer bigger house, to feel mentally ready for prepping baby’s things, my baby shower with friends I haven’t seen in so long and to go on a nice little pre baby holiday Grin I feel like a child waiting for Christmas!)

You do an online course or Duolingo to learn a language. Organise cupboards etc (buy a label maker and clear containers)
It's addictive

Daily walk/ bake/ swim

Do a 30 minute online yoga class

Walk 10k steps

Read for 1 hour
