Hows Easter school hols going?

The days are slipping by here, weve done 2 days out and then other bits and meetups so far. Easter weekend we have a meal booked and an Easter egg hunt/day at a local stately home place. Next week not much. I had a huge list of to do's- painting the house, doing my planning/reports, doing garden, batch cooking etc so far nothing done!!
Hows everyone else doing?

@Comedycook would he join you for a lunch somewhere? A few years back my teens could ALWAYS be convinced out by a pub lunch or a trip to the waffle shop, even the beach for donuts and arcades. A lot of the time I would have rather been cosy and warm at home by the fire with a book but we did manage to get out and have some fun. Even if it was sometimes like pulling teeth.
They now come out quite willingly to join me on various errands if they don’t have other plans but I do remember the years of it being hard work getting them to be enthusiastic about doing ‘stuff’.

Dh has booked a restaurant for us all on the weekend so fingers crossed! And he's off to get his haircut at the barbers tomorrow. I miss school holidays when they were little and I'd take them both to the park and soft play!

Nearly over thankfully ,my boys broke up two weeks ago and go back on Tuesday
