How do you spend your free time/unwind

I have a couple of small hobbies but nothing I get excited about doing in my free time or plan to do when kids are occupied or at school etc.
I don’t really watch tv unless I’m at my boyfriends house, I find long baths - well a bit of a cliche chore than anything relaxing even with bubbles and bath bombs.
I do read but I kind of go in and out of being interested in it.
Usually I find something I like have a massive fixation on it for a week or two and then get bored of it (hence why I say a couple of small hobbies).
Always find myself in a state of feeling bored, yet not wanting to do anything that I could do.
Just can’t find something that’s “my thing”.
I hate being stuck on my phone but in these phases of boredom I end up glued to it and then I just feel ill.

I love love love walking alone with my headphones on! But on days kids are home but playing with friends it’s not a do-able thing.

What do you all do that you find relaxing, or to pass the boredom. Open to try new things.

Soon as I finish WFH I go straight to gym and work out for an hour or so, headphones in it is HEAVEN to not speak to another human soul for at least an hour haha even if I’m tired or have a crap session I just love that hour of being voluntarily mute 😂

I also enjoy TV and favourite part of my evening is watching an episode of a series or show with my other half. It’s fun to discuss what we think will happen and it’s something we bond over.

I also started knitting in first lockdown haha never thought I’d knit at 31yo but here we are. It’s incredibly therapeutic and keeps my hands off my phone!

I read, garden, have long baths, swim in the sea. Walk the dog.
I would like to do more - cliff walks etc but I have a disability and chronic pain so have to pace myself. I too get bored and spend too much time on my phone. Audiobooks are great while cooking or gardening too.

I run, garden and try new recipes.

I used to go to the gym and for the most part enjoyed it but took unwell in October and needed about 8 weeks to recover THEN we relocated so I have plans to start back up again after the Easter break is done with.

See I like the social interaction of talking to someone about a tv show and all that. My boyfriend and I LOVED line of duty and discussing it (we’re looking for similar programs) but I only see him every other weekend and only one of those weekends is child free so there’s not much room for socialising over the telly for us. Apart from that I’m not overly interested in tv. I used to really enjoy some soaps but lost interest at some point, wouldn’t mind trying to get back into them though.

I started knitting the other week!! I’m 26! And honestly I enjoyed it partly but not enough and found some stitches rather complicated for me to focus on that for a while.

My garden.
There's always something to do and it brings me joy.
The winter months are hard, though.
I've done crochet and ten or more years in a book club has put me off reading for pleasure.

Dabbled with painting but I keep making silly mistakes that annoy me as I keep zooming in on them.
