Help me identify a celeb

I was in a cafe in Manchester today and both my son and I thought we recognised a man. We assumed he was famous - actor/celeb. He was white, pretty tall, very dark slicked back hair with almost italian features - reminded me of a tall Frankie Dettori/Adrian Brody. Could have been anywhere between 25 and 40. Any ideas?

Looking at pics of Richard E Grant, my chap looked very, very similar to him when he was much younger and in Withnail.
