Enhanced dbs check

Hi,

Wish to apply for a position in a school. My ex made a malicious claim about me to social services. They came over and did an assessment and closed the case as no issues, my children were fine and no issues what so ever. They were NOT put in need or protection. Does anyone know if this will show on enhanced DBS check as want to apply for a TA position.
Moving away for a fresh start after an abusive relationship so want to leave it in my past. No criminal record or any encounters with the police bar my ex being abusive to me only which I got a referral to SPLITS for and legal aid. Thanks!

So I've got nothing to worry about? Just worried a police officer will put it on the dbs certificate. Even though it wasn't me with the accusations. Never had a dbs before. So just really worried it'll get put on it. Even though Google has said multiple times only convictions/ crimes will be put on it.

Police officers don't put anything on the certificate. There are caseworkers who work to strict guidelines of what can be disclosed. If its just intel and nothing came of it then you'll be fine.

I'm a nurse and have regular dbs checks. I've had police involvement and social services involvement after my split with my abusive ex. I was even interviewed by the police (voluntary interview but if I didn't attend I'd of been arrested on suspicion of ABH. I wasn't charged as it was lies). Not a single thing comes up on my enhanced DBS.

Aw okay, thank you both! I keep looking on Google & just says the same when I search enhanced dbs check... . my main situation with social, was that I can safeguarding my son. How I would react in certain situations to which my partner got accused from a family member & how we would act in situations to prevent/ people from making remarks again. The police interviewed my partner & another person a few times. Then case dropped. I only got spoken to once, but mainly for my son... I'm probably just worrying over nowt, but really want this Job. So hope nothings comes up from social involvement.

You have to declare social services referrals/involvement to your employer if working in a school or nursery. It’s on the list of things that has to be declared to Ofsted.

Usually, you would be asked to fill in a form stating whether you have had any social services involvement as part of the vetting procedure. You would then fill in one of these forms every year to keep your information up to date. It’s not something you can hide when working with children.
