Great subscription gifts

Looking for a birthday gift for my dad, the most difficult person in the world to buy for. He doesn’t have any hobbies really (used to be interested in motorbike racing and some history shows but hasn’t shown interest in these for years), isn’t hugely into any foods, isn’t active… Would like to get a subscription gift, I think. Any ideas??

I know you say he isn’t into food but does he like pies or steak? There are some great pie subscriptions & steak boxes.

Does he enjoy gardening? Or going to the cinema?
Would he actually enjoy a subscription? I know gift givers like to give something but you do get to a certain age and feel you have enough of everything.

Best one we got is coffee. Magazines can be great too.

Craft gin club box is excellent. I have a discount code if you need one….

A private eye magazine subscription is good value if he likes this sort of thing.

National Trust membership!!

Great for days out because it can cost up to £20 entry for x2 adults so a "family" or "couple" subscription will be paid off in just x5 or so visits.

There are actually loads more national trust places in mainland UK than Northern Ireland (where I am from) and we still make the most of it. Also means you can come and go to beautiful places without feeling like you have to spend the whole day there!
