what audio book to listen to after finishing the Stephen Fry Harry Potter tapes?

As the title says, despite all reading them many times over, we are about to finish the Stephen Fry tapes this Easter. This is a little traumatic and we are not sure what to go for next. Stephen Fry is absolutely fantastic with his narration and the voices, so would be very happy to stick wth him, but can anyone recommend another book. Kids are 12/13 now and good readers so finished reading the books years ago, but have nevertheless loved the audios, but I am stuck!

Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch maybe although they might be a bit grown up for a 12 year old…. You’d probably love them!

The Hunger Games trilogy

Wizards of Once.

Have they tried any of the discworld books? I started reading then about that age and still love them now.

The Northern Lights trilogy

Discworld by Terry Pratchett? The Wee Free Men and the other Tiffany Aching books are his YA entry point into the Discworld universe. The books are ready by Stephen Briggs, who is excellent.

Also, don't know Iif you know this but you can get audio books from your library for free via an app if you have a library card. Loads to try at no cost!

oohh Rivers of London, I loved those (as did child 1) ! Hunger games loved by 3 of us, altough I think they are past those. Also Northern Lights, although also loved.

I highly recommend Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, the author of The Martian. Narrator is utterly brilliant and the audiobook is very, very funny (despite the dystopian storyline).

thank you - they loved the Martian and I have not heard of that one!

Could you carry on with Stephen Fry and listen to his Greek myths book? They are really good and tbh he could make any topic interesting
