Is bacon grill on a tin the same as spam?

I love bacon grill from a tin on cheap white bread with brown sauce. It's my guilt pleasure.

I've just seen an advert for spam that was done in the frying pan. It looked identical. Is it the same thing?

Or is it as I imagine like hot chopped pork?
