Tell me your daily health habits

I am in my late forties and need to look after myself more than I am.

I am trying to keep motivated but seem to have lost my way, my sugar consumption has shot up while my motivation has declined.

What daily habits do you find help keep you on track.

I’m not sure I’m the poster child for healthy habits but I try to build in some exercise each day - squats when the kettle is brewing etc. I do intermittent fasting too, but that’s a larger thing.

I do some sort of exercise everyday except Sundays.
I drink 3 litres of water a day.
I've cut out processed food.
I've cut out takeaways.
I cleanse & moisturise my face properly, am & pm.
I've cut out alcohol.
I don't eat bread, rice, pasta, potatoes or sugar.

Thank you fo your reply, what kind of fasting do you do, do you feel better for it?

I walk every day and exercise a lot.

I try to eat well most of the time but don’t beat myself up when I don’t.

I’m making a real effort with bedtime but that’s hard.

My mobility is restricted so I don't do much exercise. I do a stretching routine in the morning while my (herbal) cuppa is brewing. I have lots of food allergies and sensitivities so I can't eat loads of things that aren't that good for me so that's a help😂
I just try to build things into a routine so it's easier to make yourself do it even though you don't feel like it.

JesusSufferingFuck22 · 25/03/2022 19:29

Oh and do a qi gong thingy after dinner

Northernsoullover · 25/03/2022 19:30

I don't drink. I try and do exercise regularly but have been unwell lately so I need to get back into it. To be honest I'm convinced that not drinking alcohol has been the best thing I have ever done for my health.

Drink lots of water
Limit coffee
Have at least 3 pieces of fruit a day
Take vitamins
Long walks
No overtime and a chilled job

I walk everywhere when most people would drive. I used to go to the gym a lot but since having children haven't been able to but feel I'm staying as fit just by walking so much. I stop eating after dinner at 5/6pm and then don't eat again until breakfast.
