Is that what they're called? I'm on an info gathering mission.
Daughter suffered Hyperemisis Gravada (?) through her last pregnancy. It's basically having, "morning sickness", day and night through the whole nine months. Hugely debilitating, you can imagine, and she's got a job and a three year old to look after. She was hospitalised seven times last time, to be put on a drip and fed intravenously. Having tried various anti-emitics (?), they finally found one that stopped the constant nausea and vomiting, so she had a month of so of relief before the birth.
Right. So it's started up again - she's eight weeks and bedbound. Called the GP, he basically said, "try ginger", and closed the call. Livid. We don't know who to ask.
Surely, it's cheaper to find the right medication now, than have her passing out, being rushed in to hospital with exhaustion every couple of weeks? Any gen very gratefully received. x
