What do your Yr 5/6 Dc buy with their pocket money?

How much is the going rate and what do you expect (allow?) them to buy with it?

£5 a week.
He buys sweets, headphones, gaming stuff.

Another vote for HSBC debit card from age 11. Ds2 is 15 now, but his has chip and pin and contactless. No fees at all. Super easy for me to transfer his pocket money from my account online. And means he never has to carry cash which has no comeback if it gets lost or stolen.
