Asking for help with travel to Europe

I'm sorry to ask, but really struggle with online comprehension for big things like this. We're considering going to Italy or France at Easter, three adults all triple-vaccinated, and two DCs, ages 15 (double-vaccinated) and 11 (no COVID vaccines yet).

What do we need to do/show/prepare to get into Italy or France regarding COVID rules and restrictions, and will we have to quarantine there or on our return?

Thanks in advance! x

By Easter things in Italy will have changed anyway as there's a list of reviews coming up at the end of the month. At the moment you'd all need a PLF, and proof of vaccination, or recovery and the non-vaccinated child will need a test. The test will need to be repeated every couple of days while in Italy in order to access lots of places and facilities.
Some of the above is changing in April. The govt has announced the draft measures which will probably include no need for the Super Green Pass to eat outside.
The draft legislation was only released yesterday so it's early to say.
Other restrictions will be relaxed between April and June but the SGP is really the only one that's going to be relevant to tourists coming soon. No masks outside where social distancing is guaranteed but you will find them obligatory everywhere inside, literally everywhere and exemptions need to be certified. Lots of places still want an FFP2 and tbh, it's unusual to see people in surgical ones.
You're still going to need tests for the 11 year old in order to obtain a basic green pass which will still be needed.

In France atm if you're fully vaccinated you need a vaccine pass and a sworn statement to say you don't have covid symptoms for entry.
Under 12's are exempt.
You may still need your pass for bars and restaurants.
I think by the end of March France will be more relaxed.

I would check with the relevant embassies and not just rely on the gov.uk side.

We found quite more details this way when we looked up the German embassy for our trip last month.

It is also worth checking what requirements are for entry to venues and restaurants.

I believe the Covid Pass requirement (for bars, restaurants etc) has been removed since Monday . . .

This doesn't change the rules for entry to France but might make the holiday easier!!
