How can I dispose of 4 desktop computers which no longer work?

Does anyone have any great ideas? I could just take them to the tip, but wondered if they might be of use to someone? I have tried Weee charity but they don't seem to be collecting much since Covid.

Check with your local council. Ours pick up 'small' electricals including computers and laptops and either dispose of them or use them for parts for a charity initiative

Check with a local computer shop, it may be that they could use some of the parts?

Look on the council website- they will have rules for recycling and disposal of electrical items. Follow those rules.

Thank for these ideas folks.

Try Freegle - someone might want them

Currys accept tech for recycling, working or not, even if you didn't buy it there.

I'm liking the Curry's idea. Freegle never works for me as I live very rurally and no one can be bothered to drive out this far. May give it a go just in case though.
