Have any that you think may be useful? Add them here

On that note, I would like some help

I’m due to get fitted for a new mould on Tuesday, but then obviously I have to wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive. The inside of my ear where the top of the mould sits is killing me. It’s so sore because my mould is too hard and small.

I remember as a kid having to cut the top off once due to having a glitter mould and the glitter was sticking out and cutting my ear. I can’t remember though, is, did it affect the sound, which is why I’m hesitant to chop it off now.

So, has anyone done this recently? Chopped the top off the mould?
Does it affect the sound or do I need to tough it out for a couple more weeks Sad?

Also, ear wax. How do you deal with yours? I know I have waxy ears but all the ear drops I see say not to use with hearing aids.

You would think that having an hearing aid for 25 years would mean I knew what I was doing wouldn’t it

I’ve taken the risk and chopped it.

My poor ear. The relief it’s given me but still owwwwww.

Will probably take a few days to stop hurting so much

years ago, the hospital sanded mine a bit which helped.
Now with Specsavers so not sure what would happen...

Guess could try sanding myself!
Glad you have sort of sorted it out.
