I don’t think celebrity chefs bother - do you?

Anyone? I used my coriander straight from the pack yesterday & survived!

Nope just use straight from the pack!

I usually rinse it but if you're cooking with it that probably isn't crucial, if eating in a salad for example then I would definitely wash it first.

I grow mine so wash it.

I also know what chemicals they put on store bought so if I do buy it [very rarely] I wash that too.

Celebrity chefs and even non-celebrity chefs will wash fresh produce, before the cameras roll.

Bought from the supermarket, yes. From my garden, no. I don't put any chemicals on things, but I do wash anything where I don't necessarily know where it's come from. That said, I've never seen a celebrity tv chef open up a plastic packet of coriander from Lidl either. I suspect everything is washed and set up by production staff well before filming.

I rinse under running water everything. it may have pesticide residue so i wash any off. All veg come to that.
