Will I regret this?

I'm a pc user, Windows 10, Never used anything else. At the moment I have a massive desktop pc after (my fault!) ordering the wrong sized case when I built it, it's the size of a mini fridge and is always in the way!

I have an iphone and like the look of an ipad. Just the basic Apple iPad 10.2 model.

I'm thinking of selling the gaming pc, as I'm not a gamer, just got it for the specs, and putting the cash towards an ipad but will I regret it? Anyone gone from a pc/laptop/etc to an ipad/tablet? What did you miss if anything?

I only really use email, social media, paint, youtube and a bit if basic photo editing. itv player, stuff like that.

I'd say that if the budget stretches that far, a Surface might suit you better - it's a proper computer but in tablet form (with removable keyboard) so you wouldn't lose any functionality.
I personally think it would be too big a step down from a gaming PC to an iPad.

God if you only use email and some apps, I think it's time to come into 2022! iPad Pro would be good

I got rid of both my windows pc and laptop as I no longer needed them when I left my job. I managed with a tablet for a while - mainly using it for the same type of activities you've listed.
I found two disadvantages -
I missed having a physical the keyboard; and I struggled to download, organise and store my documents in a way I could retrieve and manage easily.
I switched to an 11.5 inch lightweight Chromebook. I was somewhat apprehensive never having used this system before, but it was a revelation - I love it - it's so easy. I bought a cheap one (about £150 a couple of years ago), intending to upgrade it to a better one if I liked the format. However I found the cheap Chromebook did everything I needed and so much more, so I've kept it.
