It’s dd’s 9th birthday at the end of this month and one of her favourite activities is reading.

She loves reading things that are magic/supernatural and also things that have a “danger” plot as she described.

She has the full collection of Roald Dhal books, various Isadora Moon, Mirabelle and Victoria Stitch books. She also has loads of rainbow fairy’s and animal books too.

In my basket so far is the second Victoria Stitch, and The Accidental Witch.

What sort of books do your 9 year olds enjoy reading?

One of DDs favourite things is a book voucher and being released into a book shop to find her own books. Weve found some great gems that way.

They seem great, we haven't read these yet, could be slightly young for a 9 year old, or maybe I'm wrong?

Hey it depends on what she likes. You said she likes magic but does she like dinosaurs and Santa? If she does the you could take a look at the brand new book out by a self published author. I'll add the link so you can take a look if you want to x
