What to do in Penzance?

We are going to see some relatives in Penzance on Friday - Monday. It's about a 6 hour drive from us. (Have to stop twice for 15 month old DD)

I have a 15 month old who is walking but can't walk far yet.

Relatives don't live in Penzance but a very very tiny village near it. The only downside seems if it's raining there isn't much to do.
We normally go twice a year.

We've done the below many times:

St Ives
Tremeneeire (haven't spelt that right) gardens
Falmouth
St Michaels mount
Beaches
Endless pub lunches
Lands end
Porthleven

Which we all love to do but difficult when very windy and rainy with a young toddler, it won't be much fun! The weather on the app isn't predicted to be great.

Plenty to do when it's dry! Not so much in heavy wind and rain.

Anyone have any ideas on what we can do in / around Penzance in the rain?
We have a car so transport is no issue!

We of course go out when it's wet and rainy and aren't afraid to get wet ourselves we just wrap up warm with waterproofs but since the storm and relatives are literally on the coast line, it's quite a difference to the wet and windy here in Hampshire and they have warned us the weather is due to be pretty crap with strong wind and rain.

Any suggestions welcome :) TY!

There used to be an indoor soft play zone there but you'll have to Google and call them to see if they are still there and what their current COVID policies are. There maybe a cinema too.

There is a leisure centre with a swimming pool in Penzance.

Penzance town is a bit run down sadly as the view of the bay is it's main attraction. It does have some nice cafe's, a soft play centre which is open 10-11:30 each day and an indoor Arcade.
There is also 1-11 play area in Helston and Flambards theme park which is next door and has some lovely indoor bits.

Geevor mine is great too without actually going into the mine.

Cornwall could do with a few more indoor attractions.

Paradise Park, near Hayle.

Country Skittles - countryskittles.com

If the weather was dreadful and I had a toddler, I'd head to the OneEleven softplay next to Flambards or to Paradise Park (also has soft play).
Theres the seal sanctuary at Gweek but its in the open so better when the weather is fair.
Flambards has wonderful indoor museums based on Victorian and Blitz times, they run days when rides aren't operating which could be better if the weather is truly dire

Also, maritime museum in Falmouth is a good toddler sanctuary on a miserable day.

Thank you everyone, much appreciated!

We love paradise park and go every time we're there. If the weathers not too bad we will definitely go.

I'll look into the soft play, skittles and cinema.

Plus museums is a good shout.
Thank you everyone!
