London lunch recommendations

Hi,
I'm off to London tomorrow (for the first time in 10-15 years) with my sister and was wondering if anyone could recommend some lovely cafes/restaurants that do gluten free and nut free food? My sister has allergies and I want to treat her to somewhere nice.
We'll be staying near Euston.

TIA 😊

Anyone? There must be at least one place that someone on here knows about 😅

Euston is a wasteland for nice cafes. I can't think of anywhere even a few tube stops away that might meet your sister's needs. Sorry.

Kings Cross is nice for eating, now. Have a look at Mildred's, Kings X. They might be able to accommodate.

Also, loads of eateries on Charlotte Street, which is very walkable from Euston.

That's a shame 🙈 I might have to travel then

I've never heard of St Pancras station Blush I've only been to London twice and the first time I was about 8 😅

There are lots of nice places close to Kings Cross and St Pancras. Euston seems to have more than its fair share of cuddly looking places with photos as menus.

Caravan?

Caravan in King’s Cross is really geared towards people with allergies. www.caravanrestaurants.co.uk/kings-cross.php

If you Google gluten free or nut free restaurants you’ll find quite a few articles come up with various lists.

Last time I went to Wahaca they produced a special allergy menu for my friend, which listed the ok dishes for lots of different allergies. They also insisted that a manager took her order. So that could be good option if you are particularly nervous.

The gluten free aspect really won’t be an issue in most places nowadays but I’m less familiar with how places deal with nut allergies.

These two places are near kings cross station (walkable from Euston station) and have allergen menus.

I don't have allergies so am not familiar with how you eat out with them esp if they are serious allergies but I like the food at both of these restaurants.

If you want to treat her to somewhere really nice this Michelin starred restaurant is run by someone whose daughter has multiple sever allergies. They have gluten free pasta and bread and welcome calls from potential customers to discuss allergies.
