Slang you use/hear daily

Inspired by the accent thread.

What sort of slang is common in your area/work place/social circle?

I'm from Belfast, there's the city slang I grew up with, then there's the "culchie" slang, that I mostly understand. There's also a big variation in slang/accent, from one part of the City, to another, and from one Town to another.

Culchie: Anyone raised in "the country", which can be anywhere from 2+ miles outside the city centre (which is called "town", as in "lets go into town for lunch").

I regularly say/hear:

Wee- Small. Everything is wee. When you go to the wee shop, the wee woman working, will ask you if you want a wee bag, and to pop your wee card, in the wee machine, then she'll ask if you want the wee receipt.
Scundered- Embarrassed.

Dead on- Good (unless uttered in a sarcastic tone, when it means I don't believe a word you just said).

Turned- Feeling nauseated, or expressing disgust.
Boke/boak- The same as turned, although can also mean literal vomit.
Ragin' - Pissed off
Aul- Old.
Caul- Cold
Baltic- Really cold
Lashin'-Raining
Roastin'- Warm
Foundered- Wet and cold
Peeler- The PSNI (police)
Scrote- Ball bag/Reprobate.
Ballix- Balls. Can either mean fuck! Or that you think someone is talking a load of shite.
So it is/So it was/So it did- Added randomly to the end of a sentence. "That's just the way it is, so it is."
Ats us nai- That's us now, we're sorted, we can finally enjoy x, y or z.

I share a slang word is Hn Means “hell no“. This is an abbreviated term that may be easily understood. Also, you can find all kinds of slangs word at this place because this is best place to find slangs.

Think you are confusing dialects and slang. Those sound like rich and varied words in a dialect. Glad to hear they are still being used and celebrated.
