This genre spans a few artists and a few years. Mine, in no particular order, are:

Poppa Joe - Sweet
Children of the Revolution - T.Rex
Ride A White Swan - T.Rex
Gudbuy T'Jane - Slade
Every Day - Slade
Dynamite - Mud
Shang-a-Lang - Bay City Rollers
Virginia Plain - Roxy Music
I Love You Love Me - Gary Glitter

NB. I know the Bay City Rollers had a sound and strong image of their own but their peak coincided with the Glam era.
Roxy Music had a Glam image before they became arty and progressive, then very commercial.
We all know Gary Glitter is a very unsavoury individual but I want to separate the man, such as he is, from the music. So I have included one of his better records here; he
DID make some great records. No question. He is also a shit. No question. Ends disclaimer!

Yes - Ziggy era would definitely qualify. Was never a fan of Bowie for some reason.

I grew to appreciate him later though. Smile.

I'm glad to see we have some more posts since yesterday. I feared my mention of Gary Glitter had ensured early failure of the thread!

I remember Sugar Baby Love by The Rubettes. Paul Someone-or-other was the lead vocalist with the astonishing falsetto but it was Alan Williams who lip-synched the song thereafter, and provided lead vocals on all their other hits. I believe they were all session musicians who happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Just now I'm listening to Hold Your Head Up by Argent. Not a Glam rock song but just on the cusp of that era. A great song and one of my earliest memories.

Love Hold your head Up. Heard God Gave Rock and Roll to You yesterday for the first time in years (also by Argent).

Great days, great music.

All of the Sweet bar one are dead. Sad

Paul Da Vinci?

Sparks - This town ain't big enough
Sweet - Love is like oxygen

Paul da Vinci. That's the chap. Thankyou, absolutely.

Sparks was a terrific band. The fact that they had to come to the UK to find chart success shows what good taste we had and how clueless they were in California.
