Nursery bag questions

Putting my 20month old dd in nursery part time starting next week! They've not provided many details about the nursery bag other than change of clothes.

Does anyone have recommendations for anything else that I should be including?

Also...Do they sleep in their clothes or do you need sleeping bag?

I send DD with a change of clothes, nappies, snacks and water bottle. She only does mornings but the list of what to take was the same for full day so I assume the kids nap in their clothes.

Ours provides nappies/wipes/food/drink so we just send loaded with clothes and bibs. He also has a blanket and comforter there that’s his for naps.

You need to double check what’s provided. We send nappies, wipes, nappy cream, spare clothes. But we don’t need to send snacks as they provide all food.

Oh and we don’t send a change of clothes for sleeping.

At our nursery they provide all drinks and food so DD's nursery bag just has a change of clothes in these days. When she was in nappies it also has nappies and wipes in. When it's very cold there's gloves and a woolly hat. In summer there's her sunglasses and sun cream.

For nap time at DD's nursery they sleep in their clothes and have a blanket provided by nursery. She also tends to take a cuddly toy which she carries in and had for nap but otherwise lived in her bag (apart from the occasional teddy bears picnic!).

we send nappies, 2 sets of clothes (DD has a habit of getting really messy!) and a sippy cup for milk. Also might be worth sending a separate bag with a puddle suit and wellies if she will be going outside.

When DD was a lot smaller, we used to send her sleeping bag but now she just sleeps on a mat on the floor with a blanket nursery provides. Depends whether you think your DD might be more comfortable using a sleeping bag I suppose.
