Mum and daughter activities ideas

I've got Feb half term off to spend with my 6 year old daughter. My husband will be at work and my teen son is staying with family that week to see his cousins so I thought it would be a nice to plan some mum and daughter activities. Any ideas? I've booked us in to get our nails done as she told me she's always wanted to go to a nail salon. Thinking pamper day that day. She loves to bake with me so will get some ingredients in. We both enjoy arts and crafts. Any ideas what we can make? Or just anything in general we can do together. I'm trying to put an itinerary together.

Make photo scrap book, go for walk and take photos of wildlife and make a story book up about your adventure, make ( I think it's called salt dough) it drys hard ,you could put both your hands in then paint when dry to make a keep sake, go on bus/ train journey to seaside, park, miniature golf, bowling, swimming, get old cardboard box and make a dolls house, make a treasure hunt with clues around your house, write a play with you and her the starring roles, popcorn and movie,

Not arts and crafts but one thing my (older than yours) daughters like to do with me is a jigsaw puzzle.

I've got the week off with my 7yo DD too. We are going:

  • to a farm park that has a big indoor play barn and loads of different animals including reptiles, alpacas, parrots, wallabies so she's excited about that. Taking one of her friends with us so she has someone to run wild with.
  • swimming
  • friend who's coming with us to the farm is taking my DD to the cinema so I get a couple of hours off! Whoop whoop!
  • probably to a cafe so she can sit and chat with me while drinking a hot chocolate and pretending to be a grown up.

I also have her booked in for 1 day at holiday club at the local outdoor pursuits centre so she'll spend the day climbing, doing bushcraft and possible out in a kayak if it's not too bad weather.

I'm loving the scrapbook idea. Salt dough is good too. I've got paints and glitter we can decorate them with and various cookie cutter shapes. The beach is on our bus route! We moved here just before Christmas so will be a nice little adventure to go to the beach and arcades there.
