We moved last year. (Me, soon to be dh, and our joint dd who is 10) Got a spider sense tingling on day one when at about 9pm we heard a huge ding dong argument going on next door.

Chalked it up as one of those things.
It's a mum and her kids, teenagers and pre teen. Think she has a partner who stays round occasionally.

Since then they've escalated. We get woken up daily due to constant yelling, banging, sounds like the teenager is punching walls.
Once or twice police have been seen at the house, which is nothing to do with me, I've just tried to ignore them.

On one occasion I couldn't leave my house as one of the teenagers was out the front throwing bricks and hammering on the front door with them. For clarity, we share a porch so he was basically on my doorstep.

On that occasion I did call the police as he could have damaged himself or a passerby and I felt unable to leave my own house safely.

A week later we had the police on our doorstep again. Wanting to check our back garden in case afforementioned teenager had thrown a weapon into our garden. I was advised by the police to call them immediately if I heard anything that sounded like violence. Just to clarify I did not call the police on this occasion and knew nothing of it until they knocked on our door.

So recently I heard another almighty row going on. And banging and what sounded like someone falling down the stairs. Plus a lot of screaming.
So I called the police. As advised. They came round to do a welfare check.

I have now found out that the neighbour has decided that we are harassing her. And wants to put in a formal complaint about us.

Apparently this is all our fault and she never had this issue with the old neighbours. We're too nosy, he teens are just being boys, they're not that loud etc etc etc

My partner is disabled and I do shift work so I'm not always home. He's now worried about being in the house alone in case she kicks off

Anyone have any advice on how to deal with this, I share a porch with these people and they seem to be attributing everything to us!
