Best teacloths/tea towels

I don't know why, but I've never found any decent tea towels in the shops.
I mostly drip dry any hand washed things and 99% of everything goes in my dishwasher but mugs etc often need a quick wipe before him but in the cupboard.

I've tried TKMAX, John Lewis - they all look small, thin and completely non-absorbent!

Anyone know of any decent ones?

Lamont poli dri. Last for years. Expensive but worth it

These are brilliant. Have to wash them a few times to get their absorbency going, but that's fairly normal. I think of them as being quality ones that might be used in non-domestic kitchens (not that I know that really!)

Kitchen Aid ones from Costco.

These are the ones, but they're under a tenner in Costco, I don't know if they are available cheaper online anywhere if you're not a member.

Properly absorbent and they have a built in loop for hanging them up, which is surprisingly pleasing.

I just bought a pack of 8 from Jysk which I’m really pleased with - cotton linen mix and nice and absorbent.

Definitely Lamont Polidry. As pp said, a bit pricey at around £4.75 but well worth it.

Linen glass cloths from one of the professional catering consumable providers like Nisbets
