Oh gosh. From what you’ve said I’d suggest sleep training or healthy eating, to be blunt. But the general advice is more veg, less processed food, more water, get your thyroid checked…

Watching with interest. I am a very low energy person.

I'm often anaemic so iron supplements on prescription do help but not completely.

Thanks. I need some honest, blunt advice as I’ve lost my way. All my bloods are fine.

I think I need to looking into some sleep training. Any advice of where to start with a cosleeping/breastfeeding 2 and half year old?

I definitely have never drank enough water.

You cut yourself a break and survive this period. Your DC will sleep one day. You cannot expect more than survival whilst getting very little sleep.

To get more energy you need to have enough sleep, eat a well-balanced diet, exercise moderately, drink enough (doesn't have to be water, any liquid will hydrate you) and not have any underlying medical issue that causes fatigue like anaemia. None of it is ground-breaking new to science stuff, but several of those points are a challenge with a toddler!

Thank you but my little one is 2.5 yrs and my low energy is impacting on my quality of life and long term health.

Start gradually. Drink an extra glass of water, eat a piece if fruit.
Same for a few days, then add more. Tiny steps that won't overwhelm and send you crashing and burning.

I hear you, OP.

DD1 didn't sleep more than 40min until 8 months.

DD2 bf on demand until 24 months inc approx every 40 min overnight.

Your life and you will return. It just takes way longer than expected. I saw a big difference once they started nursery and then again once they started school.

Exercise, a fast 40 minute walk nearly every day when you’ve sorted out the sleep.
Sleep training, there’s nothing a toddler needs at night you can’t give during the day. Time to think about your own well-being now.
Multi vitamin

Less sugar if you rely on things like a biscuit to give you energy.
