Warm, grippy waterproof boot recommendations

Hi,
So I’ve had a pair of Muck Boots which, given the price, I would have expected to last me a good few years. 18 months on and the soles are coming off. Coupled with that, they are excessively slippy in any kind of frost or mud so were not a great purchase. I did like how warm they were, and had no worries about them being waterproof.
I was looking at DuBarry boots as I like the way they look but they are so very expensive, and to be honest I’ve heard that their quality is not what it used to be. Can still be persuaded though, if people’s opinions of them are high.
I’ve read up a bit and am tempted to try Ariat Eskdale boots although one review puts doubt on how water proof they are, which is a must (dog walks through puddles and mud).
Can anyone give some opinions on the boots mentioned, please, or suggest some alternatives.

Thank you!

My Dubarry's fit the bill. 10 years and still going strong. I wear them daily 6 months of the year. Pricy but cost per wear is tiny.

Shires do a Dubarry like boot which is cheaper but just as good from Frieda who have them.

I recently bought from a company called bareback. I bought Quebec boots and they are so comfortable and completely waterproof.

Oooh lovely, some good suggestions here. Have looked at the Moretta boot from Shires and the Dakota boot from Bareback- both look like good suggestions, thank you.
I don’t begrudge the DuBarry price but people I know of who have bought them recently seem to be having quality issues.

Wellies rather than boots but my Aigle Parcours Vario Iso 2 are insulated and fit more like boots. Pricey, yes, but they've lasted 4 years so far which includes 2 dog walks a day.

These. DD1 stole my first pair about 5 years ago, still absolutely fine after 10 years, and my replacement are still good for daily use
