Should a burn from an electric shock be treated with cold water like a normal burn? If not then what?

Thank you.

Happened about 20 minutes ago so may be too late.

Yes, to cool it down. What was it from? Can you see where it went in/came out?

Yes cold or luke warm water for 20 mins. You do also need to go to A and E for all electrical burns.

Cold water and you need urgent medical advice/s check over for electrical burns as any damage tends to be internal and there is the potential for heart damage.

Thank you. It’s only tiny- I was unplugging a charger and hadn’t seen that the plastic side of it had fallen off so ended up grabbing the insides accidentally- felt like it had bitten my finger off! Finger has now developed lots of little pin-prick blisters, grim.

Even though it was tiny, all electrical burns need to be checked by a medical professional. The outside is blistered, you don't know what's going on inside (which is why they're so dangerous).
