Would you like to receive a blanket if you were poorly or would it always remind you of that time.

I have been crocheting a blanket for a friend who is poorly. She is waiting for treatment.
I keep wondering if she will want to receive the blanket or if it will always remind her of when she was poorly.
Any wise words?

I think that's a lovely thing to do.

I'm poorly... please can you be my friend??

When my mum was seriously ill in hospital, I went in an emergency to visit and stayed at my parents. I didn't take anything warm enough for the evenings and borrowed a blanket shawl of my mums that she kept by the sofa. On her recovery she then gave it to me, as I said it had given me lots of comfort during that time, like a warm mum hug. It reminds me of that every time I see it and I cherish it for that reason. I think it's a lovely idea.

It will give your friend physical and emotional comfort. I'm sure she will love it!

Another vote for reminding me of the lovely friendship I have.
