Bra sizing help after diet

Hello

As an adult woman I feel I should probably be able to work this out myself but I’m really having issues with my bras!

I started quite an extreme diet at the beginning of January, and have gone from 12.6 to just over 11 stone. Unfortunately my body has decided that I’m not allowed to be thin and have nice boobs. I have developed stretch marks on the underside and now I’m developing stretch marks on the top as well, which I’m getting really self conscious about. They have changed shape, and are dropping now which isn’t very nice. I have been really worrying that since I’ve done my diet my bra size has changed. My breasts are spilling over the top and out the sides of my bras, which I’m worrying is causing the stretch marks and the dropping. I don’t understand how all these changes have happened in such a short amount of space, and I don’t understand how they could have got bigger when ive lost weight.

I have started wearing a bra at night, but the marks and shape seems to be getting worse. I need to get a bra that will help prevent this.
I have been wearing a 32E for the past few years, and have just measured myself, and I am 30 inches under my bust, and 36 over. The bra calculator says I should be wearing a 30E, but I have an old 30E bra and it’s far too tight, it’s sitting below my nipples almost, and my breasts are spilling out the side. I don’t know if I’m wearing the wrong style bra?!

Please can someone help me- I just need to know what size and style bra will stop this horrible drooping and stretch marks from getting worse- I was too embarrassed to take my clothes off before because of my belly and now I’m too embarrassed because of my breasts!

Just to add- I have just used the m and s bra size calculator and it’s saying 36DD- surely that will be far to big! Crazy!

Go on Boob or bust website and use their calculator. M&S add 4 inches to the band which is crazy as bras now have elastic and therefore some stretch.
Dress size plus 20 is a good start point for band size

I would measure as per this guide Betterbracampaign and look at the advice on fit etc

The band will feel tighter and it may leave a mark, in the same way your jeans might or your socks might when you take them off. This is normal, it shouldn't hurt though.

Bravisimo is recommended by bra gurus here - if you did want to go somewhere to be measured. Do not go to M&S, they are the worst.

Just to add to any confusion with sizing a say, B cup for example is specific to the band size, so a 34B is not the same cup size as a 38B so if the band size is too tight if you go up a size in that you have to go down a size in the band to get the equivalent in that bigger size

There is also Bratabase for fit help etc

TYPO** meant down a size in the cup to get the equivalent
