If you have your heating on all day

If you have your heating on during the day, how much is your gas bill? Just wondered as I just got my statement and at the moment it’s about £100 per month. I am at home most of the time and feel the cold so heating is on - but I have been pretty careful. Kitchen diner has underfloor heating so I have been mainly using that (separate thermostat). I suspect that if radiators were on it would probably be twice that at least.

All my gas based heating is underfloor. My bill for January is about £30. I rarely specifically turn it on or off. The thermostat kicks in at minimum of 18 overnight (rarely switches on), 19 during the day, (is on first thing then only if very cold and grey, with no sunlight gain, does it come on during the day). At approx dusk time, thermostat goes to 21.5 when the heating comes on for 1 to 3 hours depending on outside temp.
This heating covers living room and kitchen, hall, bathroom and second bedroom.
I have no heating in my bedroom and in my ensuite/dressing room the heating is electric, underfloor on for about 3 hours plus fan for 10 minutes and costs about £15/£20 per month in winter.

My house is only 3 years old and is very well insulated especially under the lounge/kitchen

My total bill for all gas and electric is around £95 per month at present

Ours has recently shot up from about £30 a month to over £50. It also coincides with my new job which involves working from home....

Im now trying to avoid putting the heating on at all, so regularly sit and work with blankets, hot water bottles, and have started working out of the living room rather than the office upstairs as its warmer. Trying to find the balance of having reasonable bills, but not being miserable due to the cold.

I pay £120 a month for both. I've only had the heating on 3 times this winter.

My gas bill was £156 last month at 6.4p/kWh. We are on a recently fixed 2yr tariff so that's a LOT more than this time last year. We keep the house at 19.5-20c through the day.
