Whats the question

QuizzicalEyebrows · 30/01/2022 13:59

So if a prescription is for a liquid in 5mg/5ml suspension but the bottle comes as 1mg/1ml (which makes the suspension equal)

Can you sign it in if the bottle content states 1mg/1ml but the sticker from the pharmacy states 5mg/5ml

Does that matter or is it inferred that they are the same

They are the same.

I think the cd register should have xxx 1mg/1ml. Ismthe pharmacy sticker stating the dose to be taken.

CorrBlimeyGG · 30/01/2022 14:06

The active ingredient is the same. Is it oxycodone?

QuizzicalEyebrows · 30/01/2022 14:11

Yes the sticker states the dose to be taken and yes it is oxycodone.

It will be signed in under 1mg/1ml

So long as that's fine that's great.

Same.. 1ml of active ingredient in 1 ml of liquid
So .. 5 ml of active ingredient in 5ml of liquid

MayThePawsBeWithYou · 30/01/2022 14:19

Some places sign it in as OxyNorm depending on the place

QuizzicalEyebrows · 30/01/2022 14:21

Up till now it's just been for 5mg/5ml so need a new page for 1mg/1ml but that's fine.

Just wanted to make sure as the 5mg/5ml is about to run out
