Cool things to do with 2 teens around Covent garden

We'll be visiting London in a few weeks with two teens (16). We're staying in an apartment in Covent garden & I'm looking for good places for food / things we shouldn't miss that might be interesting v ri them

We're not from the UK though it's not our first trip to London. We'll do some of the main things - Tate, national gallery etc we've previously been to London Dungeons & tower of London & natural history museum
I'm looking for quirky things teens might like but not escape rooms
We'll be there 3 nights
Thanks!

I forgot Greenwich market covered old one and outside are good, maritime museum also good, Deptford also edgy and fun. You can walk to isle of dogs via foot tunnel at Greenwich and Emirates sky line cable car too.

Hackney Wick is where lots of cool fashiony arty kids out. And if it doesn't work out you can walk along the canal and look at the Olympic park.

If they like films/comics type stuff, Forbidden planet in Covent Garden (it’s a shop)
Camden market
Carnaby street & walk through Soho - literally every type of breakfast/lunch/dinner/cake you can think of.
China town (almost all of it is food but nice to walk around even if you don’t eat)
Portobello Rd market on the Saturday

I know Greenwich is great (I grew up there) but with only 3 days I wouldn’t bother making the journey - my 16 year old thinks it’s pretty boring & would prefer Camden or Portobello for markets.

Depending what the kids like Soho has the supreme shop, palace skateboarding/clothing & quite a few other little shops that some teens like

Mercato Mayfair is a food hall in an old church in North Audley street (opposite Selfridges) it’s not massive but there a selection of food & it’s instagramable if that’s what they like

Thee was a thread last summer asking for "quirky things to do in London with a teen". I think it was in the London topic.

(But I think I made up the "London topic" 😂)

If your girls like cake

b-bakery.com/london/bus-tours/afternoon-tea-bus-london

and you get to see the sights of London at the same time.

I hope you have a fab couple of days Smile

I just thought of something else. I did this with my two teenagers a few years back and we had great fun

Don't be put off that it is February, we went in December and it is the BEST time to go as you are so lovely and warm in the jacuzzi. We all really enjoyed it.
