DS has his in his hand constantly at the moment. He just told me his hands are tired so he was going to have a rest. Two minutes later-click click click!

There are far worse things he could be doing with his time, lm just wondering how long the craze will last for...

My son was (is?) a speedcuber along with my husband. Competitions and everything, when they were allowed. It may not last or it may become a huge part of his life.

@riverpebbles oh wow, I didn't realise it had a name!

Yep, at least you know where they are as you can hear them. My dh was doing mock interviews at a school once for dentistry and was impressed when a girl said she did rubix cube to relax. A it meant she was a bit more memorable and B it's really good for dexterity.

My ds learned to solve it when he was 9 and it did what nders for his social confidence. Fab party trick.

Yes I'm really impressed at DS as I was always rubbish at that type of thing. It's all about the speed now!

Ooh, are they back in fashion? I remember them first time round - great fun.

NuffSaidSam · 29/01/2022 11:45

We've come through the other side. I think it lasted about a year.
