What to do in London with 2 year old?

My partner has been matched with somebody for stem cells donation and we'll be heading to London Sunday and he'll be giving his donation on the Monday. While he's doing this, what is there for me and my 2 year old to do? The donation is at the London clinic which I think is near regents Park. So happy to do anything around there within walking distance with a buggy!
Thankyou x

The zoo is spitting distance and will take up loads of time. Hope it all goes well for your DH, how amazing!

The soft play attached to the Postal Museum is fairly close, and great. It has a mini train too if he’s into that.

The transport museum in Covent Garden is an easy bus trip and is 2 year old heaven.

Primrose Hill has a decent playground, and lots of child friendly cafes.

Well done to your DH, stem cell donation is amazing.

London Zoo is at the top of Regent's Park, opposite side to where the clinic is. It's a nice walk up through the park, it won't take more than 20 mins with the buggy. You could easily spend the day there. Be prepared for the entrance fee though!

How long will his appt take? There's a good kids playground at the top end of RP too if it's not too chilly to hang out there.

Thanks all! We haven't got any good zoo's down in Cornwall where we're coming from, so might take a trip to there!
I believe his donation takes around 5 hours.
What's the entrance fee for the zoo? @tpmumtobe

Think it's about £30. If your DC is 2 they should be free which helps. It's when you take a family of 4 and pay for bigger kids it becomes a bit Shock

You need to book in advance though due to Covid so I'd do that pronto, they're selling out a good few days in advance at the mo.

Book here: www.zsl.org/ticket/zsl-london-zoo#tickets

The main cafe has been done up and has lots of lunch options for little ones so you can happily spend the whole day there. The penguins are awesome :)

There's a really nice playground at the bottom end of Regent's Park, near Regent's Park tube. But if you have 5 hours to kill, the zoo is a good shout
