Chopped up into small pieces - cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red and white onion, celery, red pepper, beetroot, sweetcorn all on a bed of lettuce.

For sauce mixed in, 4 heaped tablespoons of natural yoghurt, dash of mustard, 1.5 heaped teaspoon of parmesan cheese, squeeze of lemon juice and dash of worcester sauce.

Say one (big!) cereal bowl full.

Why?

TracyHorrobin · 26/01/2022 15:58

I'd guess 250-300 calories. The cheese is the biggest offener

QuestionsorComments · 26/01/2022 15:58

Full fat yogurt?

If it is, about 300. If it's fat free much less, but it's no kind of meal.

A tablespoon of grated parmesan is about 30 calories. (As it's mostly air)
Howmanysleepsnow · 26/01/2022 16:00

370?

RJnomore1 · 26/01/2022 16:01

Why are you asking?

Why?

200

SarahAndQuack · 26/01/2022 16:04

You can add it up on myfitnesspal.

HopefulProcrastinator · 26/01/2022 16:05

To fill a large cereal bowl...I'd guess at around 400 calories but I wouldn't eat that so it's not in my normal realm for estimating calories don't do yoghurt or mustard

FieldOverFence · 26/01/2022 16:05

depending on whether the natural yogurt is full or low fat, i'd agree its between 250 and 300 cals

IBloodyLoveMichaelJackson · 26/01/2022 16:06

0% fat yoghurt

100?

ConstanceL · 26/01/2022 16:11

Why not put all the ingredients into an online calorie tracker? I use carb manager which I prefer over MFP.

BarbaraofSeville · 26/01/2022 16:12

No-one can say without amounts, but most of that, with the exception of the cheese, yogurt, sweetcorn and possibly the beetroot is really worth counting and if you really mean a teaspoon or so of grated parmesan, then life's too short for that sort of detail.

Just guess 300 and it's probably within 100 either way, that's close enough. Doesn't sound very substantial as a meal though. Did you forget to mention some chicken, beans, eggs, other protein source or a pitta bread or similar?

BaronessBomburst · 26/01/2022 16:16

I'd add some protein to that or you'll be hungry again within the hour. Prawns or chicken, maybe? Or tinned chickpeas?

bippityboppity87 · 26/01/2022 16:21

About 300

Boomboomackalackalackaboom · 26/01/2022 16:28

Too vague on your amounts (you can’t guess heaped teaspoon amounts, my heaped my be smaller or larger so always use level) but I’ve put it into My Fitness Pal as guesstimates & got 268

I've got about the same though why it thinks 64 calories for onion I have no idea!
BarbaraofSeville · 26/01/2022 16:37

Some of the amounts in that list are quite strange.

half a pound (227 g) of pepper and a whole cup of onion are probably somewhat of an overestimate, but half a gram of beetroot would be barely visible to the naked eye.

MrsWooster · 26/01/2022 16:37

I’d have guessed 250-300 but I’d ditch half the yoghurt for -50 and agree with whoever said you need a piece of protein in there for another 150, or you’ll fall into the biscuit tin in two hours.

Hogwarts4Christmas · 26/01/2022 16:39

I eat similar meals, so I'd estimate around 250 cals.
