CenterParcs- can I book DS into an activity so I can go the spa?

I was wondering if anyone knew the answer? I’ve been to Centerparcs twice but both times with DP and family. This time I’m taking DS alone as DP is working and family can’t make it. I’ve never used the spa but I was thinking this time I could maybe book in a massage. But obviously can’t take DS In (he’ll be 9). We normally do a few different activities and swimming but this time I was thinking I could book ds into something for a couple of hours whilst I go and relax and to have a little break after a busy week!

Thanks in advance :)

I think at that age every activity needs an adult to supervise.

We are going next weekend so I logged in to my booking and looked at all activities for 8-11 year olds. 27 come up and only one of those does not require you to supervise a 9 year old.

It's archery adventure but is only at Whinfell and Woburn.

Everything else is parent accompanied or minimum age of 10!

They must have changed it then because I used to go to the spa when my 7yo was at Chefs Academy/wizard school/princess party etc. They are normally 3 hours long and you could book a slightly shorter spa session, this is at Whinfell

Actually looking at those session that you can leave them unaccompanied is she 3-7, sorry!

The last time I went just with DS was pre covid and there was nothing bookable that I didn't have to be with him for. That may have changed, or just been the time of year (off peak-Winter). I think Center Parcs are missing a trick with this tbh, we have been to other places that have supervised activities for that very reason.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Looks like I won’t be having my massage this time either, although I could probably leave him in the pancake house with youtube on his tablet and he wouldn’t come looking for me for hours 🤣

@Throwntothewolves I agree! Obviously I wouldn’t want to spend a full day away from DS and Centerparcs is a child centred holiday but I think they’d make a killing putting on some supervised activities so adults can have a hour or two alone either in the day or early evening to enjoy a meal!
