Is this worth getting checked with the GP?

I've had, for a good while, aches in my armpits. They felt muscular, and would be in one for a while then the other, off and on again.

Having small dc I always just figured I've excerted myself picking them up etc. I also wondered if it was to do with my bras not fitting right so remeasured and updated them.

I've since noticed patches of skin appearing on my left breast and in the area below my left breast which are small, roundish and rough, like sandpaper. I noticed a single one a few months back, probably about 6 months ago, and am now seeing more.

I've done numerous checks for lumps and never found anything.

Since reading about someone I know and their breast cancer experience, I have read up on the stages of BC to better understand, and it's noted that there doesn't even have to be a tumour (therefore a lump).

I was pretty certain that the signs my body were showing were not worthy of investigation as generally explainable, but am not conscious that there doesn't even have to be a lump.

Having read this as I've gone I'd say "well, duh, go see the GP, why wouldn't you?" but I don't even know what they will think or say given that I don't actually have a lump.

See your GP. Breast cancer has more signs than just lumps, but hopefully it is something else.

Yes you should go to the GP for any changes to your breasts and skin. Call them tomorrow. It could just be eczema or psoriasis or it could be nothing. It's best to get seen regardless.

Well worth seeing your GP. They may be able to put your mind at rest. But if there is something serious, it's the first step to getting it sorted.

You are all right, and it'd what I would tell anyone on here asking the same thing.

I don't go to the GP very often at all - do I just see any one or will there be a one who would specifically deal with this sort of thing?
